The Angsty Beavers are a 3-piece, all-female band, featuring Brooklynn Marti, Megan Filo and Kayla Aftahi. Formed in May 2022, this pop-punk trio covers all your favorite tunes from the early 2000's through now, including bands such as Green Day, Blink182, Weezer and more. So grab your black eyeliner and sing your emo heart out. After all, it's not a phase, mom!

Megan Filo - Drums
After graduating from UW Oshkosh with a degree in percussion performance and music business, Megan moved to Nashville where she regularly gigged with groups of all genres. After a few years of recording and touring, Megan and her family moved back to the Milwaukee area where she continues to work as a percussionist-for-hire and educator.
Kayla Aftahi - Bass
Kayla hails from San Diego, CA where her love for music began. She began playing bass as her first instrument as a young teenager. Kayla has two degrees in music where she focused on percussion. Her degrees in a rhythm based instrument has helped her grow her skills for bass.
Brooklynn Marti - Guitar/Vocals
Brooklynn began learning electric guitar at the age of ten. Starting in her teens, she switched to the acoustic guitar and began playing solo shows and writing her own music. Over the last decade, she has released 4 original albums and currently has some new music in the works. In the last two years, Brooklynn has revisited the electric guitar and her love of the pop-punk era, thus forming The Angsty Beavers.
